For every mountaineer "La Picca", the ice axe, doesn't only represent a tool necessary for vertical progression, but it's rather a true traveling companion in which joy, pain, risks and above all great emotions can be shared. The ice axe allows you to climb with confidence, but when you fall you get right back on your feet. The wonder of the climb and the promise of a new landscape behind every corner are exactly the emotions that we have tried to enclose in an object that mountain lovers can wear every day.
The artisan process is very simple. Technology and tradition come together to form a sketch, made by hand with paper and pen as we pass to three-dimensional modeling. in this way, the pen becomes the useful tool for the expert hands of a craftsman who makes "La Picca" suitable for everyone.
